A meeting was held with the head of the Republic of Dagestan of the Russian Federation Sergey Melikov and with his delegation being on visit in our country at the Ministry of Economy.
Minister Mikayil Jabbarov talked about the development of successful trade and investment relations and importance of strengthening the economic potential between the two countries.

The Minister emphasised the point that the various documents on cooperation between our country and the Republic of Dagestan were signed and successfully executed in the fields of transport, provision of public services, culture, youth and sports, and tourism. Sergey Melikov expressed his satisfaction with his visit to Azerbaijan and emphasized that the Republic of Dagestan attaches great importance to partnership with Azerbaijan, and in this regard, the special role of mutual visits, as well as the subjects of the Russian Federation.
The sides exchanged views on the issues related to increasing the activity of relations and the private sector in economic relations.
