The internationally important energy projects initiated by our country, the work done in connection with "green" energy and new cooperation perspectives were discussed in the meeting of Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov with Gordon Birrell, the executive vice-president for Production and Operations of BP.
Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov met with Gordon Birrell, executive vice-president for production and operations of BP, who is visiting our country to participate in the Baku Energy Week.
The Minister of Economy emphasized the importance of effective cooperation with BP at the meeting. Internationally important energy projects implemented with the initiative and active participation of Azerbaijan and measures implemented in connection with the transition to "green" types of energy were reported, opportunities for developing cooperation were noted.
Gordon Birrell, the executive vice president for production and operations of BP, spoke about the participation of the company he represents in business processes in the world and the region, as well as the directions of expanding the partnership with Azerbaijan.
The parties discussed the important energy projects initiated by our country, the potential of renewable energy, the work done in this field and the prospect of new cooperation.
