The Ministries of Science and Education and Economy held a "Second Wave" graduation day for those who want to acquire a new profession in the digital field under the "IT-Academy" educational project.
Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev, First Deputy Minister of Economy Elnur Aliyev, General Director of "Algoritmika" international programming and mathematics school Andrey Lobanov, MPs, heads of higher education institutions, relevant state institutions and representatives of the companies participated in the graduation day of the "IT-Academy" educational project.
The activity of "IT Academy" is a contribution to the development of the country's information technology market. Innovation and wide application of new technologies lay the groundwork for improving the education system. Projects of this type have a great role in terms of the competitiveness of young people in the labor market and the opportunity to change their profession"- the Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev mentioned during his speech at the graduation day of the students who studied at the "IT-Academy" operating under the "Algoritmika" international programming and mathematics school.
First Deputy Minister of Economy Elnur Aliyev pointed out at the event that increasing digital knowledge creates fertile conditions for faster economic development. Following the trends in the global economy, Azerbaijan also aims for the society to have high digital skills and the formation of an innovative economy. The first deputy minister stated that "IT Academy" supports the formation of human resources that meet the requirements of the modern labor market and noted that this will contribute to the career of graduates, as well as the development of the digital economy in the country.
Andrey Lobanov, general director of "Algoritmika", expressed his views on the importance of the IT field against the background of modern development requirements, and informed about the teaching methods applied by the institution he heads.
Later, a presentation was demonstrated on the activity and teaching process of the "IT Academy" created with the joint support of the Ministries of Science and Education, and Economy.
11 graduates who showed successful results during their studies at "IT Academy" were awarded with certificates within the framework of the event, and meetings were held with representatives of companies operating in the IT field.
