Products worth 32.1 million manats were produced in Hajigabul Industrial District in the first half of 2023.
A positive dynamic in product production is observed in the Hajigabul Industrial Quarter under the management of the Economic Zones Development Agency (EZIA). 5.2 million manat worth of products were produced in the Industrial Quarter in the 1st half of 2022, and more than 6 times more products (valued over 32.1 million manats) were produced in the 1st half of this year. The produced products are aimed at satisfying the demand of the domestic market.
So far, products worth more than 76 million manats have been produced in the Industrial District.
13 business entities with a total investment of more than 57.7 million manats have been registered as residents in the Industrial District, where more than a hundred people are permanently employed, and 8 of them have already started operating. Residents of the Industrial District specialize in the production of passenger cars, construction materials, various types of steel screws, wood products, plastic containers and tares, and other fields.
In addition to the existing projects, 32.3 million manats will be invested in the Industrial Quarter, and more than 390 permanent jobs will be created.
