Deputy Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan, Bakhtiyar Mammadov pointed out that digital transformation is one of the priorities of our country, informed about digitalization, infrastructure construction in the field of information and communication technologies, application of modern technologies and international cooperation in this field in a session on "Digital data transformation and document exchange in the supply chain using UN standards".
Ahliddin Nuriddinzoda, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic Tajikistan, Gaidar Abdikarimov, Secretary General of the International Association "Trans-Caspian International Transport Route", Larisa Kislyakova, Chairperson of the Central Asia Transport and Logistics Partnership, Vitaliy Alexandrov, Deputy Permanent Representative of Kazakhstan to the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, Chairman of the UN Center for Trade Facilitation and Electronic Business, Sue Probert, emphasized the importance of digital transformation and electronic document exchange in terms of effective cooperation in regional trade, reported about the benefits of supporting SPECA sustainable trade principles by regional countries and other related issues.
The current experiences in the field of digital transformation in the participating countries were discussed, and suggestions were made about the potential of partnership at the event.
