Deputy Minister of Economy Rovnag Abdullayev met with the Minister of State for Petroleum of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Musadik Malik.
The meeting emphasized the development of Azerbaijani-Pakistani relations and the importance of large international oil and gas projects implemented with the initiative and active participation of our country. As reported, trade is one of the main areas of partnership with Pakistan, and efforts continue on the signing of the Preferential Trade Agreement, which will make a special contribution to this area.
The sides exchanged views on expanding cooperation in the energy, transit and logistics and industrial sectors, the implementation of joint projects, and the participation of Pakistani companies in projects implemented in our liberated territories.
