Minister of Economy Mikayil Cabbarov met with Prime Minister of Moldova Ms. Natalia Gavrilitsa, who is on a visit to our country.
The event emphasized that Azerbaijan attaches much importance to relations with Moldova and that there is a potential for strengthening trade and economic cooperation. As reported, our countries enjoy great opportunities for broadening relations in investment, trade, industry, agriculture and other areas. The Economy Minister drew attention to the efforts made to develop investment activities in our country and invited Moldovan companies to active cooperation.
Prime Minister Ms. Natalia Gavrilitsa underlined the importance of focusing on the issues to broaden economic ties and outlined the directions for developing partnerships. According to Ms. Gavrilitsa, Azerbaijan is a reliable partner and expressed the interest of Moldovan companies in the Azerbaijani economy.
The sides exchanged views on the areas for expanding trade and economic cooperation.
