The Economic Zones Development Agency continues its efforts to attract potential investors and entrepreneurs to the Nakhchivan Industrial Park.
The establishment of the Nakhchivan Industrial Park, the foundation of which was laid by President Ilham Aliyev on August 11, is one of the important projects implemented to develop industrial potential, attract new investments, and establish modern production facilities in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
Within the framework of measures related to the organization, management, and development of the park's operations, priority areas for production, processing, recycling, and service sectors have been identified. The Industrial Park plans to implement projects in the areas of chemical and food industries, waste processing, ferrous and non-ferrous metal processing, production of construction materials, production of machinery and equipment, renewable energy, furniture, textiles, leather and apparel industry, packaging products, as well as paper and paper product manufacturing.
In addition to production buildings, the construction of an administrative building, a social zone including a sports and wellness center, a repair workshop, a warehouse, a truck parking lot, and a logistics center is planned on the territory of the park.
The Economic Zones Development Agency continues to work toward attracting potential investors and entrepreneurs to the Nakhchivan Industrial Park. As in other industrial parks, extensive incentive and support mechanisms will be applied to promote entrepreneurial activity here.
Accordingly, park residents will be provided with ready infrastructure built at state expense. This infrastructure includes gas, electricity, water and sewage systems, internal roads and railways, as well as modern communication lines. Furthermore, residents of the industrial park are exempt from property, land, and profit taxes for a period of 10 years from the date of their registration. Machinery and equipment imported for production purposes are also exempt from VAT and customs duties.
The creation of the Nakhchivan Industrial Park will make a significant contribution to accelerating industrialization in the region, launching new production and processing enterprises, expanding investment opportunities, and developing entrepreneurial activity.
