Discussions held with representatives of Spain's "Santander" bank

Issues regarding the development of cooperation with Spain's "Santander" bank have been discussed.

First Deputy Minister of Economy Elnur Aliyev has met with representatives of Spain's "Santander" bank.

During the meeting, the development of Azerbaijan–Spain economic relations and opportunities to expand cooperation were emphasized. It was noted that the role of the financial sector is of great importance in developing the economic partnership between the two countries, as well as in implementing joint projects.

Opportunities for financing investment projects implemented in our country, including support through multilateral financial institutions, were reviewed. Within this framework, possibilities for expanding cooperation with "Santander" bank were examined.

Measures taken towards promoting and supporting investments in Azerbaijan were brought to attention, and other matters of mutual interest were discussed.
