The Azerbaijani delegation participated in the opening ceremony of the China International Fair Trade in Services (CIFTIS), and discussed the expansion of cooperation in meetings with the heads of the companies "China Energy International Group Co. The Azerbaijani delegation headed by the Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov took part in the opening ceremony of CIFTIS exhibition in Beijing. Leaders of China and other countries attended the event, where thousands of local and foreign companies demonstrated their services. Azerbaijan has been represented by a single country stand at CIFTIS since 2019.
The Azerbaijani delegation met with the heads of a number of Chinese companies. The importance of developing mutual cooperation was emphasized during the meetings, and favorable business environment of our country, opportunities created for investors, projects implemented in the field of alternative energy and perspective directions of partnership were evaluated.
The parties were informed about the "green" energy potential of our country and the projects implemented in this direction in our liberated territories in a meeting with Lu Zexiang, the chairman of the company “China Energy International Group Co., Ltd.”. The Azerbaijani delegation got acquainted with the activities of the company. The parties discussed cooperation in solar, wind, hydrogen energy and sea water desalination projects.
The works performed by the company on the construction project of the ceramic tile production plant in Azerbaijan and the possibilities of cooperation were reviewed in a meeting with Fan Jiangshan, the chairman of the company “Wenzhou Nixin Trading Co., Ltd”.
Opportunities for cooperation in the field of investment in battery energy storage system and wind power plant projects were mentioned in a meeting with Lin Bosheng, the chairman of the company “Wontai Power”. The parties discussed the potential of implementing the battery energy storage system construction project on the basis of public-private sector partnership and other cooperation issues.
